Robert Nolan became an actor at an age when most other men were already dead - dream-dead that is.

Taking an English B.A. at U of Toronto, he discovered drama and, knowing that Everest is high and men are small and look like ants from really far away, he immediately set out to ascend the dizzying heights of this fabulous nirvana.

With little formal training and an attitude of optimistic ignorance, he has travelled the bitter highways, the laughing byways and the poisoned staircases but always, always with that strange little gleam in his eye.

At the moment he has done an amazing number of short films and a couple of plays, has the lead in an indie feature and roles in two more, just signed with an agent, is studying with Tom Todoroff, learning accents and monologues and keeping an eagle eye on the silver bird of Everest.

It only gets better.
